Create/Manage Folders

To create and manage (i.e., rename, move, empty, delete) folders for your inbound faxes: ( NOTE: You can NOT rename, move, or delete the system's default folders...only any sub-folders that  you've added to them.)

  1. Log into Sfax at https://app.sfaxme.com.
  2. Click the Inbox folder in the left navigation pane—then:

Create a new (sub)folder Select the folder in which you want to create the new (sub) folder, click the Add folder icon at the bottom of the pane—and in the Add folder dialog: Click the drop-down arrow of the new folder's destination, enter the new folder's name in the textbox; then click Add. The new folder appears in the folder you selected.

Rename a folder In the left navigation pane: Select the sub-folder you want to rename, click the Rename folder icon at the bottom of the pane—and in the ensuing dialog: Enter the folder's new name, then click the Rename button to save and exit.

Move a folder In the left navigation pane: Select the sub-folder you want to move, click the Move folder icon at the bottom of the pane—and in the ensuing dialog: Select the folder's new destination, then click the Move button to save and exit.

Empty a folder In the left navigation pane: Select the folder you want to empty, click the  Empty folder icon at the bottom of the pane—and in the ensuing dialog: Check the Confirm..., then click the Empty button to confirm the action. Any/all faxes in that folder will move to the Trash folder (where they remain until you empty that folder via Delete Faxes [from Your Account]). 

Delete a folder In the left navigation pane: Select the folder you want to delete, click the Delete folder icon at the bottom of the pane—and in the ensuing dialog: Click the Delete button to confirm the action. That folder, including any sub-folders, will move to the Trash folder (where they remain until you empty that folder via Delete Faxes [from Your Account]).
