Reply to, Forward, Print, or Export a Fax

To reply to, forward, print, or export a fax:

  1. Log into Sfax at https://app.sfaxme.com.
  2. Click Inbox in the left navigation pane, then the relevant fax (or its checkbox). Then:
  • To reply to a fax: Click the Reply icon, then on the following screen (which displays your fax number [under Outgoing Number] and the document faxed to you [under Files, which you can remove by clicking the Remove button): Provide any necessary contacts, files, and cover-page information (see Compose and Send a Fax for detailed instructions)―then click the Send button in the upper-right corner of the screen.

  • To forward a fax: Click the Forward button―then for the following screen (which displays your fax number [under Outgoing Number] and the document faxed to you [under Files]): Provide any necessary contacts, files, and cover-page information (see Compose and Send a Fax for detailed instructions)―then click the Send button in the upper-right corner of the screen. 

  • To print a fax: Click the Print icon. A PDF file will download to your computer from where you can then print it.

  • To export a fax: Click the Export button―then in the ensuing dialog: Click the appropriate radio buttons for the type of fax you want export and which pages. (If you select Pages, enter the exact page numbers, or a page range, in the textbox.) Check the Options box if you want to include the date the fax is exported. Then, click the Export button. (The file will either download to your default location, or you will be asked where to save it.)

Add/View Fax Information

To view, or add information to, a fax after it’s sent:

  1. Log into Sfax at https://app.sfaxme.com.
  2. Click Inbox in the left navigation pane, then the relevant fax (or its checkbox), then the Information button. The Fax Information dialog appears, displaying the sender, his or her fax number, when the fax was received―and  (in the Display Name field) the number at which the fax was received

  1. To assist in case you need to search for this fax later on:  In the Subject and Reference textboxes, enter keywords of what the fax is about―and in the Remarks textbox, any comments/notes.
  2. Click the Update button to save the information and exit. You will then see the information added to the fax.  (You can also use the Inbox’s search field to search for the fax, based on the info you just added.)
